My task for this level was to do some minor improvements. One of the major complaints at the time was performance, so I decided to redo the really dense terrain to be about 1/4th the detail while also redoing the blending a bit to have it make a bit more sense. I also did some brushwork improvements I saw across the map, such as fixing faces that were drawing but shouldn't have been.
While doing that I decided to change the lighting, as I felt as if the nighttime lighting was weird and way too bright for the setting. So I changed it to sunset and made it have a proper double sun.
I also added another route into the main tunnel area as it was hard to break through for the attacking team.
