A-280 (Movie Battles 2) [2018]

An upgraded A280 model for the Movie Battles 2 modification for Jedi Academy.

We had been working on upgrading a lot of the visuals for the mod across the board, but some things had not been updated in over 14 years. The A-280 model was one of them. It was starting to bother me quite a bit so I went outside my normal areas to create an updated weapon model.

No high poly was made for this, only low poly, and I created a large majority of the normal detail in photoshop via NDO and then baked back down into a traditional non-pbr style diffuse/spec setup. Third person mesh had to be kept below 1000 verts.
